2005 Paddy Byrne Darts 63 players took place in the 2005 Paddy Byrne Darts Tournament held last Sunday in Biddy's, Roartys and Glenhead, Cashel. Local Glenhead player John Con McGinley won the trophy for the second time defeating fellow Glenhead thrower Dermot McGuire (appearing in his first final) 4-1 John only lost one leg of darts in the competition. The standard of darts on the day was very good with a lot of memorable matches. 2004 PADDY BYRNE Over 60 players took part in the 11th Paddy Byrne tournament in Cashel on Sunday 6th last after a day of excellent darts 3 times winner Irwin Muirhead played James Byrne who was appearing in his first final. James went into a 3-1 lead and was one more leg away from winning the cup but Irwin produced some great darts to win 3 legs in a row to take the cup back to Killybegs. 2003 PADDY BYRNE The Paddy Byrne Darts singles competition held in Glencolmcille attracted a large entry from the SW league area with some very memorable matches during the day. Declan Cunningham from Dunkineely took the title defeating Kenneth Kennedy form Kilcar 4-3 in an exciting final.
