Memories of my Mother
Though you are not with me today
It was long ago the Lord called you away
In my  heart you're always near
  for I love you forever
Mother dear

In the memory of my youth you were always there
wiping away my tears and consoling  my fears
And oh! how you cared.
Let me go back now and feel your true love
you bestowed in my heart.
For dearest Mother I know
  We will never part

As you watch my children grow in the lands below
You are quietly near guiding them
through gentle streams  with your silent oar.
I can still hear your voice singing songs
in the morning of our home.

I forever tell my children
about you
and your kind loving heart

I'll hold you oh! so close
Mother dear.
Thank you for teaching me
those wonderful scripture verses
written so long ago.
I now pass them on to my children
so that their heart may feel
the love of Jesus Christ
like you did..
