The rain touched my life today
It came in at nightfall   waking me by roofbeats.
Down the side it went  by the bucketfulls
The splender and melodrama  of nightly rain
All the more soothing to my soul.

Soft paddles from Heavan's flight  they come
Lightly at first  and silent to.
They go on and on   till hours pass by.
Natures delight in a soft sigh

Cold tears where the clouds ly
When at sorrow time they burst
Pouring droplets on rooftops  of lonely people.
The pattern is there the sound is clear
In it's earthly flight
  it is rain.
