Well, I'm back in Lubbock.
And I don't really know where to start. I almost wish I didn't have any news to tell, pero I do... quite a bit of it. I'll start with the good news.
Richard has just about all his money! Really happy for him... Wish the rest of the news was as good... pero yeah... not quite. Don't get me wrong, not completly horrible or anything.. pero still.
As you well know, we're now in the middle of a war. Which on it's own is bad enough, pero added to the fact that we are planning a mission trip in Africa.... yeah. joy. NEways, was getting a ton of questions back home, so the other day I typed up an information packet, that I think looks pretty good... only now it's probably extremely outdated. The part on the war is pretty much the same, we're still going ahead as planned.. becuase it's easier to cancel at the last min than to rush to try & catch up at that time... pero I found out this morning that we have a deadline ourselves... May 1st... that's the day we will know if we get to go or not. I already talked to Amy about that, and to Barb about visa's so that's pretty good... at least there's a definate date... until then plan as if we're going... Pero, add to that the fact that I just got an email from Amy that she sent last week.. (why she sent it to my LCU account I'll never know) about the situation that said something completly different... I'm guessing that part changed since I've talked to her since then... however, it also said that the Tennessee people aren't going through Europe, so I'm a bit confused about that... I'll talk to her later though & clear that part up.
Also, I found out that only 2 people from Tennessee will be going! That makes only 8 of us! The bad part of that is that one center will need to be cut out, I think Amy has a plan for that though, so it will work out just fine I'm sure.
Well, I guess I'd better go... I'll prob be placing another entry pretty soon.. even if nada happens in the next few days or nething, we have our meeting Saturday & Amy has said it's MANDITORY... so I'll def write after that.
