Hey! Well, I'm happy to be able to write today, becuase it's not a meeting that I have to tell about (lol, I accidently typed toe about for some odd reason). Not that meetings aren't fun and all, becuase they are.. and I like having them. Pero, I like this reason for getting to make an entry just slightly better lol. ;)
I'm sure you've guessed by now... (or else you've visited either the main fundraising page or my personal one.. well, that'd be both since you have to go to the first to get to the last pero that's all besides the point).
After one of my classes today I went down to the Church to pick up my check, Jo mentioned yesterday that it was up there... So, I decided to go ahead & go, and also to talk to the secratary again about the mission rosaries.. to get things straight there.
I would have been happy no matter how much the check was for, let me first say, pero it was a REALLY NICE surprize to find out that she'd given $100. Yeah, thank you note needs to be done now lol. I'm also really glad that Amy came up w/ the idea (or someone did, she's who mentioned it to me) of sending everyone who donated something a postcard when we get there. That's a really cool idea.
Added to all that... I did talk to the secratary about the rosaries. We got the ad for the bulletin written up, and she is going to talk to Father Vic to make sure it's ok to do it next Sunday. So, we're planning on doing it then, and if not, she's going to call me & let me know when I can. The good thing about next Sunday is, first off, mama will be there.. so I'll have some help.. Plus, it's Palm Sunday... which always brings a lot of people. .
Well, as my dear cousin says, the tinkle fairy is calling me... so I must leave. (and yes, I'm sure you really wanted to hear that pero too bad lol)
