Ok, talk about a fun day...
First off we went back up to Boma... & Helen went w/ us. Heath got some workers to help out w/ the cement so that's going well... I took Helen out to Pilgrim, where the babies stay, for the morning. It's a pretty good walk out there so we talked a lot, she's a really nice girl. The babies were adorable of course. I got to hold little Ottoman & he fell asleep in my arms... It was sweet. We tried to leave before lunch becuase we didn't want to take food from them (what I mean is that they don't have much) pero they wouldn't let us so we joined them for lunch & left afterwards. When we got back to Agape they were eating there. One of the kids nearly had me in tears watching him eat becuase he's so thin... had been locked in a closet by his mom when they found him... and he was just scarfing his food down...
After we got back to Moshi we walked through town.. I got some postcards & looked at a dress (not as nice as the other stores though) & then back to Boldens. Which is when the jokes started up... First off we had beans & rice for dinner & of course someone had to start singing the "beans beans the magical fruit" song... rolling of eyes occuring at that point. Then Richard finishes off by saying that they're the holy fruit & the early Church considered em holy or something... So I couldn't help it... I turned to Amy & whispered "who says there were no instruments in the early Church?" yeah, bad I know... it was funny though. (I've been at LCU too long......) Then we start back to the hostel & Richard made some dumb joke about stealing a car, to which Dustin replyed "No, we don't wanna get stoned!" Well, it wouldn't have been quite so funny exept that we'd just passed a club & the stupid hashish smoke was drifting out & of course it stunk like it horrible.
& I guess that's about it other than some issue's going on that arn't really any of my business to put on here... So I'll go for now.
