LOL... well today was definatley better...
Woke up this morning convinced that I was late.. rushed into the living room & realized that I'z wearing shorts... hello culturally inappropriate! So I ran back into my room.... grabbed a skirt & "bankie" & paused to look at the clock.. when I read: 2 am. Oops.Back to sleep.
Woke up at 4:45, on purpose this time... got Dustin.. & took off for Mass. On the way there we saw the guy doing the prayer call.. that was pretty cool. Mass was nice. I really enjoyed being able to follow along w/ it at least part way (I still got lost towards the end lol). Took my camera w/ me as well.. hope the pics turn out better this time lol.
On the way to coC a little while later we passed one of the Mosque's w/ a guy selling stuff outside.. I saw a Qu'ran out of the corner of my eye so I just had to go back... So we did, after the coC service. Richard & I both got Kiswahili/Arabic Qu'ran's... Heath got a thobe & I got another abaya/hijab set. Ken wasn't too happy w/ us over that.. .oh well... Ate at the Lepard Hotel & then again at the Coffey Tree.. got Goat Roast that time... oh it was good... Finished up the floor plans we started the other day @ the Boldens.. that was interesting. Will really be interesting if they actually use any of them.
& that's about it.... for today neway.
