Dear Journal,
FINALLY... The teaching began...
So as you can imagine we're all HAPPY!!!
We got to Mwenge about 9 this morning to start giving evaluations. We finished about 11. From the one's I did, I had a fewreally brite kids... really brite. Most had probs w/ time though.
Lunch at Bread Shop & then off to Mohammeds for my ring... it's pretty... they engraved my name in Eng though.. OH well.
Afternoon was spent going through our first lesson. I had an amazing discovery today. I actually LIKE teaching drama! It's fun... I wasn't expecting that.... My fav part is that if I goof up speaking I can just make fun of myself & go on.. whch is harder to do in other areas... (exept songs..it's ok there too) I got a good laugh out of Miss Malaria (yes Barb has it) forholding the day 5 pic upside down during the Blue Hippos' class. My class confused me though.... I have this little girl named Siti who was wearing hijab... at the end of the day she took it off & threw it to another girl who put it on before they left.... odd....
Well,off to put names on nametags & laminate them...
