OK, first news of the day... Earlier Amy got an email from her mom saying that her dad (Amy's) sold a bunch of sheet metal & $2500 goes to both Amy & Richard for this summer.... Of course we fig. that Mrs. Brown added an extra zero to it... right? WRONG... So Amy added up her numbers tonite & found out she has $4100!!!!!! Yeah, she's excited. Not sure how much that puts Richard up too... pero it's def pretty good. As for me, I'm not doing too bad either... I'm inching up to the $3000 mark already. A couple more weeks of work & I'll be there, not counting those tickets we're waiting for & the donation from Jo that I know is coming.. which will hopefully help me get to the $3500 mark. I really really want to be able to climb Kili for my vacation so hopefully I'll get there or past.
NEways... Spring Break has now past... How the time flies.... It was pretty fun I suppose... Def. interesting lol. To make it short... (major points of the trip I mean):
Friday I left here, went down to FS, called Baba.
Saturday morn Dad & Banay picked me up, we stopped a little while in Bal (ate & visited a bit.) Played Bao w/ Banay, then rode scooters & played in the water hose (& yes felt like a kid again lol)
Sunday I got up early for the Spanish Mass (hey I miss it here!) & then we went by Grandpa Chuy's old house to check on it... (make sure nada was missing)
Monday I went to the school with Baba to work on homework, ate at Papa's Pantry (yum), got home to find that someone had broken in & stole some stuff.. police come.. lots of waiting.. not fun.
Tuesday back to the school.. Papas for lunch agian.... then off to Rudy's baseball game against Alpine.
Wednesday... Back to school.... Off w/ Baba afterwards while he fixed a comp... got home late... & Rosi'd made enchiladas... (sigh.....)
Thursday - back to school.. enchiladas for lunch.... then stayed to fix the Zanzibar pizzas... Watched Bend it Like Beckham that nite..... (I love that movie)
Friday.. Back to school (the joys of HS lol) Lunch at Papas... Rudy had a baseball game in Marfa afterward school (we didn't go) Dinner at what's it called... Cattlemans? Maybe... something like that...
Saturday.. Rudy left for Iraan for a track meet (which caused many bad jokes by dad about 'he ran in Iraan') Banay left for Pecos for a basketball tournament.. We went to Pecos to watch it & drove around in between games... Ate at Sally's... Came back late, found out Aunt Lynn was going to Bal Sunday so I'd have a ride back to Mid... Went to friends house & ate... late nite...
Sunday... got up & Baba & I said goodbye to others & went to Bal... Went to the ranch, dropped Baba off & took off to Mass... got there late lol. Found out my madrina was going to Odessa & said I could go with her (Aunt Lynn's car would be really crowded so it worked out great)... Went back to ranch, ate, visited... said bye to Logan... left... We started off to Odessa... Tammy called the cell & we could hear Brenda's little one on there... it was SO CUTE! It was a fun trip... Not too long after I got to the house Mama came home & we started off back up here..
Which ended my Spring Break.
I had fun neways... even if it was crazy!
