Dear Journal,
Hey!
OK, I'm back... w/ quite a bit to fill ya in on....
Just got out of our first mission meeting of the week.... where we recieved our share of the scratch cards that came in Friday & forms from LCU that we need to fill out. Jim got in trouble becuase we havn't been doing that lol. The prob being that we have to get two sections filled out, one by a faculty member & one by our advisor.. well.. mine is on sabatical (sp?) So when I go talk to Dr. Privett about my paper I'm gonna ask her about that too. fun fun. As for the cards, they're pretty cool. I'm looking foreward to getting started on them.
Also, Amy called the Embassy yesterday. They have our passports.. w/ visas... all ready... There wasn't a return envelope so they left them sitting there. :S yeah... So this afternoon Amy is doing that... so hopefully we'll get them soon. Richard told us today that he got his stuff back (he'd forgotten his passport lol) & is going to wait till we get there, as Kristen David & Jeremy are doing.
Hmmm.. what else? Amy & I talked about Tanzania in my "Intercultural Comm" class... Both of us cringed from the beginning when Mary mispronounced Tanzania. We were telling Jim & a few min later he did it to in jest. It was funny... in an obnoxious way.
Yesterday was the big missions banquet too... I didn't get to go because I had to work. The rest of the team went though. Amy said that it was really good. I'm kinda sad that I couldn't make it... pero I have to take off quite a bit this week so I need all the hours I can get during it.
Ok, that's it. I've gotta get. Like I said before, have to go talk to Dr. Privett... fun fun.
