Ok, first off I have to say that NO I'm not smiling because it's snowing outside... In fact I absolutely DETEST snow.... Uggg... Brrrrrrrrr.....
NEways, so much is going on that I'm not sure where to start...
So we had 5 people on the team right? One short of being able to run the formal school program... Since Mama Lynn wants us to work w/ her kids we'd be ok though, just change the program up to suit them.... It'd work...
Pero... The other day Amy came in all excited... GOOD NEWS. Jeremy Seevey's (sp?) dad talked to him the other day & said that their church's something or another was meeting about missions funding (ok, so I could be off on term. I've slept since she told me lol) & if he wants to go somewhere to get his stuff together soon. Well, to make a long story short... we've got a new member - bringing us to 6. Meaning we can do both now!!! YEA!!!!
So we had our meeting yesterday, with all 6 of us. It was fun... Amy read the interpreter story to us.. which I so need a copy of. NEways, we didn't quite get to the Kiswahili lessons becuase Amy forgot her info. It was ok though becuase we had to catch Jeremy up for one thing... Like I said, it was fun though...
Of course, Jeremy doesn't have his visa stuff ready yet... pero everyone else does just about. Greg brought his to the meeting, pero we realized at teh last min that he didn't have the form filled out in ALL CAPS.. so he had to redo it & gave it to Amy later. Abby's got hers... I had all but my MO & I'm not sure about Richard. & yes Amy had hers already. So we went to the bank yesterday & I got mine finished (their reaction to it being to the embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania was quite amusing as well) I'm not sure if Amy's sent them all off or not yet though..
Think my news ends there? Not quite. I got up this morning & decided to check my email before I went to lunch... & had an email from Kristen!!!! Remember, from 2001? That was exciting all in itself since I haven't heard from her in forever... pero she's also thinking about going back!!! So I replied & let her know what's going on, on our end... I'm not sure what's going to happen there pero it would be really cool if she gets to go again.
