As you may (or may not) remember, the team during the summer of 2003 was made up of: Amy & Barbara Brown (of course), Kris Marie Humphries (that'd be me), Richard Reedy, Heath Ramsey, & Dustin Davis.
We flew out on 22 May; Amy, Barbara, Richard & Heath all left from South Carolina, while Kris Marie & Dustin left from Lubbock. From there comes a whole little funny story, but you'll have to check out the journal for that ;)
Over the course of the summer we laid a cement slab for Mama Lynn at her orphanage/childrens home, spent some time w/ her & her children, & taught at Mwenge Primary school.
Things were a bit different this last year because as all this was going on, we watched the Boldens pack up to leave, as Ken got a new job.
I could go on & on, but that's what that journal is for...
However, I will add that we flew out of KIA on _ July. We had a safe & meaningful trip all the way around.
