Recipe for a Perfect Italian Manhattan

YOU’LL NEED:

• Stainless steel cocktail shaker.
  
• Martini glasses--the larger the better.
  
• Shotglass.
  
• Bourbon whiskey--preferably Olde Grand Dad.
  
• Campari there is no substitute.
  
• Frangelico liqueur there is no substitute.
  
• Quality maraschino cherries.




THE DAY BEFORE:

• Prepare fresh ice using bottled or distilled water.
  
• Place ingredients in refrigerator; place glasses and shaker in freezer.




SPANKY’S PERFECT ITALIAN MANHATTAN FOR TWO:

Lubricate the rim of each chilled glass with a lemon wedge.


Into your shaker add:

• 10 ice cubes.
  
• 4 bourbon shots.
  
• 1/4 shot Campari.
  
• 1 shot Frangelico.
  
  
• Pour between the two halves of the shaker to mix.
  
• Strain into glasses, alternating between each.
  
• Place 1 maraschino cherries into each glass.

And please enjoy because
this is a perfect Italian manhattan.
