Bio: The Living Legend is renowned globally as professional wrestling's greatest superstar. His charismatic persona, oozing sexuality, and verose soliloquies have earned The Legend an enormous assembly of faithful admirers. The genesis of The Living Legend occurred on April 14, 1992, when an ambitious young man hailed as The AC Kid scored a win in his first UDW match. By 1995, The Kid captured the Intercontinental Title and would reign as champion again in1996. This early success was merely a percursor of events to come, as he went on to win the coveted World Heavyweight Championship in 1997 and again in 1999. All signs indicated that the AC Kid was nearly unstoppable, but his joy ride came to a screeching halt in February 2000. While defending his World Title, The AC Kid suffered a severe neck injury that would force him to vacate the title and spend two years in rehab. October 2002 marked the return of The AC Kid, but achieving success was suddenly an increasing difficult task. The next several years were a time of defeat and despair for The AC Kid as he searched to find a new identity. After a lengthy sabbatical, The Kid returned to UDW in October 2005 and embarked upon a quest for his third World Title. Opportunity came knocking when the belt was vacated and a triple threat match was scheduled to determine new champion. When the bell rang on Christmass Eve 2005, everyone in the arena anticipated witnessing a symbolic passing of the torch from the grizzled veteran The AC Kid to the undefeated youth Big Sexy. In a dramatic turn of events, Big Sexy lied down and allowed The Kid to win his third UDW World Title. After the match, The Kid ascertained that he was UDW's first and only three-time World Champion and should subsequently be recognized as The Living Legend. Soon after, the newly dubbed Legend and Big Sexy introduced their new stable, the nWo. Donning black t-shirts and implementing whatever tactics necessary to win, the nWo dominated UDW and adopted several new members. The party would not last forever, though, as Big Sexy became frustrated with The Legend's leadership. These backstage differences came to a climatic culmination on May 21, 2006. UDW was set to film the pilot episode of Thursday Night Throwdown, and The Living Legend was booked to face The Heartbreak Kid. Instead, The Legend was approached by Big Sexy with a challenge, "One match, to decide it all." With the help of special guest referee Billy the Rock, Big Sexy handed The Legend the most lopsided loss of his career. Not only did The Living Legend lose his belt, he suffered multiple injuries taht would force im to miss several months. During this time Big Sexy proclaimed himself to be The Legend Killer inveiled his newest stable, Evolution. By mid- July, The Legend returned and demanded to face the Legend Killer, In what some call the best match of his career, The Living Legend weathered the Legend Killer's offensive onslaught, managed to survive the viscous RKO and became the first man to truly defeat the Legend Killer. After being named UDW's first-ever United States Champion at Heat Stroke, the Legend was defeated for the title by Macdaddy Markle and suffered a post-match assailment by The Legend Killer. The power of Evolution along with the sale of UDW to the Legend Killer forced The Living Legend to search for alies. He aligned himself with Buckwild Brode and they co-created the stable, Regeneration-X (RX). Evolution and RX feuded over the coming weeks, but with Macdaddy Markle and Buckwild incarcerated for brawling in public, The Legend Killer shocked the wrestling world by announcing The Living Legend as his partner to defend the Tag Team Titles. When it came time for the match the famous RX theme music blared though the arena sound system, but The Living Legend was no where to be seen. Finally, he emerged from the entraceway and made his way to the ring. However, and to the dismay of the Legend Killer, The Living Legend refused to take part in the match. Receiving a Socko to the throat from Bubba McFud changed his mind, though and the unlikely duo went on to win the titles. The Living Legend left the ring with Macdaddy's Tag Team Championship belt creating controversy over the rightful owner of the belt. This dispute, combined with Buckwild's contentions that The Legend Killer stole his World Heavyweight Championship, led to an elmination tag match between the four at August Annihilation. Six championship belts, ownership of UDW, and The Living Legends career were on the line. All the chips were on the table and The Legend wasn't about to fold. In typical UDW fashion, the mach lived up to its billing and RX recorded the victory with the help of a stipulation that submissions do not elminate wrestlers. In the final episode of Throwdown season one, Mr. Legend appeared to his corporate theme music and announced that he sold the company on eBay, and Zillionaire Donald Trump was the new owner. However, Mr. Legend remains both the President of Wrestlign Operations, as well as an active member of the UDW roster. During the off-season Mr. Legend has arranged two PPV shows and negotiated contract with FOX to produce Thursday Night Throwdown season two. |
