Today was an average Saturday, I suppose. Every weekend on my way to work, I go to Dunkin Donuts to get my necessary large hazelnut iced coffee, thick with sugar and nearly white with cream. (Healthy!) I left extra early today, because I usually manage to be late to work. This plan failed, as I remembered while on line that I didn't have my key to open the store. My next tattoo should be of Forgetful Jones. I managed to get in the door exactly at ten, so I basically had to rush around like a madwoman, turning on lights, getting the computer running, getting the stuff for the film machine up to the front. Little did I know I was working with Reg today (she's a manager and has keys) but she got there at 5 after anyway, so I guess it's better i went home for my keys.
The day went smoothly after that, though. Working with Reg is way cool. She's a
drummer in a rock band and knows all these rock people, like Monster Magnet.

After work, I went with Rob and his friend Blair to see Stir Of Echoes.

It was pretty good; I actually liked it more than The Sixth Sense. Yeah, I know, blasphemous. Shut up. I liked The Blair Witch Project better than both of them. Now I know you really hate me. :)
Liam was pretty cranky for a good portion of the movie, with no good reason. He had a full belly and a clean diaper. Being in the theater doesn't generally bother him; He actually seems to like it most of the time. Today wasn't one of those days.
I also rented From Beyond, because Reg told me that having not seen that or Plan 9 From Outer Space is pretty naughty of me, being a horror fan and all. So I have to do some catching up. I haven't seen Dead Alive yet, either, but I promised myself I'd get it this weekend. I haven't watched From Beyond yet; I'll probably get into it tomorrow. I went back to the store around 8 and picked up a couple porn flicks, neither of which were too great. The second one, Femme 2, which is made by Vivid, looked good, but by the time we started watching it, I wan't horny anymore. I guess I'm just tired or something; I don't know. I was kinda borderline into it to begin with, anyway. Shocking, I know. Little miss lust goes cold for no apparent reason. I'm not too worried about it. Rob's not offended, and I don't feel like I'm missing out since I'm not into it tonight, so it's cool.

Reg, on the far left, in her old band, Daisycutter.

When will characters in movies learn that hypnosis and seances lead to big, big trouble??

Another average day. Worked with Reg again. Man, she is too fucking cool. I wish we worked together more often. I love all of her stories about her band, and the folks she knows. And we've gotten close enough to feel comfortable talking about sex with one another, so that's cool. It is essential to have someone in your life that you can be frank with about banging, man. Especially another woman, because they GET IT. Some guys get it, but not all.
Bill is a guy who gets it. I could talk to the guy all day about damn near anything, and he's going to understand. It's a shame that i didn't meet him a few years ago when I was in Florida. we were practically neighbors (he lives in Orlando and I lived in the St. Pete/Clearwater area.) He's a great friend, despite being pretty far away and we've never seen each other in the flesh. I have this talent for meeting folks online that I really connect with but they live a zillion miles away. Luck of the draw, I guess. But hey, it's better than having no friends at all.

this is Bill, apparently being his goofy self.

DUN DUN DUUUUUNNNNN... Here's the soundtrack for the day!

10am - Jane's Addiction; Nothing's Shocking"
11:30am - Bree Sharp; "Cheap And Evil Girl"
12:30 - Garbage; "Version 2.0"
1:15; - 4 Non Blondes - "Bigger, Better, Faster, more!"
2:00 - Nirvana; "Incesticide"
3:00 - Rasputina - "How We Quit The Forest"

After Korn, we put on M2. They did a huge block of No Doubt, so after work I hit Compact Disc World and got the "go" soundtrack, because i can't live without "New" anymore.
