The Reality of Forever

The reality of forever comes as a shock to me
The one we thought we'd never lose
Forever young she'll be
Eighteen years seemed long,
but like her song, it's gone
We'll miss her voice, her smiles, her frowns,
and through the clouds, the tears, the rain we'll have our ups and downs.
Things will never be the same, but her memory lives on and the love she left behind will take away the pain.

This page is dedicated in loving memory to one of my dearest friends Jenny who lost her life in a car accident the summer of 1998 right after we graduated from high school. We were close all through high school and hung out all the time. She loved her friends and family as well as music. She had a beautiful singing voice and was very talented. Before she died she was getting ready to head off to college at UCONN where whe planned to major in Spanish. She had hopes to become a Spanish Teacher or a Spanish Translator and work for the United Nations. She seemed to have her whole life planned out for her already. It was devastating to hear the news. I will never forget her as long as I live. The memories will last me a lifetime and I'm sure one day I'll see her again and I look forward to the day that I can run up to her and throw my arms around her.
