| Dunham's Grove (the second grove) is in the far bottom left corner, in Boyer Township (counties are divided into townships). Click on the map to see a larger version. This is a piece of a plat map from 1875, 26 years after Cornelius Dunham settled the area; by this time, Z.T. owned and operated the land. You can see that Cornelius didn't move very far down the river, but it did make a world of difference. We can thank the Native Americans of the area for this; they recommended this land to Cornelius. You can read a little about that story in Cornelius' biography, and see pictures of the farm here. Click here to see the original Dunham's Grove. | ||||||||
