Hello, my name is Andrew. I am 19 years old and I live in Canada. The First time i ever heard about the SAS was when I took a plane to England by myself when I was 10 years old. I walked into a book store just to look around and I saw the coolest looking book I had ever seen. The book was called "SAS In Action" by Chris Chant. It is a very good book and I suggest buying it if you ever come across it. It only cost me 3 British Pounds. I was so moved by the professionalism of the SAS that I decided to create a webpage showing this professional dedication to excellence. That's me in the picture on the left. I'm at Canadian Forces Base Borden, There was a Service Rifle Clinic, that was run by the Ontario Rifle Association and taught my Keith Cunningham and Linda Miller of MilCun Marksmanship Complex. I am holding a custom-made AR-15 which was built my MilCun, and is Linda's personal Service Rifle. My Grandfather was a Major in the Ontario Regiment. I hope to do SAS selection one day, just for the personal benefit of knowing I can keep up with the best of the best. I am joining our Country's #1 Infantry Regiment, the Royal Canadian Regiment, 3rd Battalion (Light Infantry) which is based in CFB Petawawa.. Also, I work at the "Ferret Club" which is the second half of our Regimental Museum. It is the half that takes care of all the Military Vehicles that we have. |
