Published in one of New Zealand's most popular daily newspapers, Wellington's Dominion-Post (circulation 130,000), this article looked at the increasing interest in climate change and the Kyoto Protocol in the U.S. media and in some political circles, as well as with the general public.

Scientists Highlight Health Fears, Ocean Risks, Linkages Update, February 2005
I have been writing and editing articles for Linkages Update, an online publication read by 20,000 specialists following climate change and other multilateral  environment and development processes, for several years as a contributing expert on climate change and trade and development issues. I am also an editor of this online publication. This link shows the articles I wrote on dozens of issues relating to the international climate change negotiations during 2004.

This article was published in Emerging Markets newspaper, an investment publication popular among international institutional investors, professional working for the Bretton Woods Institutions, and other decision makers and businesspeople active in the international finance sector. Emerging Markets is published by Euromoney Institutional Investor Plc, one of the largest providers of financial information worldwide.

London Calling: Getting Started in London, Consumer magazine, March 1998
As an investigative journalist working for
Consumer magazine (readership 250,000) from 1995-1997, I wrote articles on a wide range of issues, from environmental matters to consumer scams, health and travel. This article contained advice for New Zealanders moving to London for what they refer to as their "OE" (overseas experience). Thousands of young New Zealanders move to London under a bilateral agreement that allows them to work in Britain for up to two years. The first page is attached here.

Net Gains, Net Losses: A Guide to Internet Service Providers, Consumer magazine, January 1997
This investigative article exposed which internet service providers were the best--and worst--in the New Zealand market. In early 1998, I was awarded a major New Zealand journalism award, the "TUANZ" prize for best IT article, for this story. The first page can be read here.
