Spencer High Library Media Center

Mission Statement

The Media Center functions as the information hub of the school. It provides a networkd reference database and Internet access which encourages students to develop research skills and to enhance computer skills. Traditional research and organizational methods are also taught. Our ultimate goal is to help our students become computer literate, independent researchers and critical thinkers for the automation age.

Staff

A staff of two persons is dedicated to meeting the reference requests of all patrons who visit:

Our Goal Statement

We believe that all students can learn; therefore, it is our responsibility to help staff and students obtain all of the resources, print and non-print, that are needed to support the curricula. Furthermore, we teach each individual how to use these resources for projects and pleasure.

Current Projects

A partnership is being merged between Barnes and Nobles, the newest and most prestigious book vending company in our city. They have made a positive investment in the faculty and staff, as well as our students. Kudos to you!
