Hi! This is the second incarnation of this webpage.  I figured that I'd actually add some text to it this time.... By way of introduction, I'm Steve and I grew up in Webster, NY.  I'm currently a graduate student at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) studying Bioengineering.  I wanted to include this so that y'all know which Steve Fong this is ... you never know, I'm sure there's more people with the same name out there.

So... what is there about myself that I'd like for people to know.  First of all, I'm a born-again Christian.  If you're not exactly sure what that means, click on born-again Christian and I'll explain.  Why is this so important?  Well, quite honestly, being a born-again Christian is the primary principle behind who I am and what I do. Other than that, I'm getting close to being done with my Ph.D.  I hope to eventually get a faculty position somewhere.  In the mean time, I'll probably stay here in San Diego for a little while after graduation working in my current lab (systemsbiology.ucsd.edu).  I'm really bad at updating this page, but I hope you enjoy the things that I have up right now!
