Okay, so it's a hare...but "bunny" alliterates!
This here hare was paper-pieced, and this is about life-sized ,so you can see there were some little, bitsy maneuvers on the ole Featherweight involved.
"Animal Planet" was supposed to be an exercise in randomness, i.e., basically a crazy quilt, but just about immediately I started "fussy-cutting" and never stopped. This block has unusually few fussy cuts, relative to most of the other blocks--just the asparagus and the pig. (If you're wondering what the heck a fussy-cut is: do you think those asparagus spears just fell that way serendipitously? Ha!)
