The Balanced Man Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship that Sigma Phi Epsilon offers to a current freshman male at St. John's University. The scholarship is awarded to the applicant that shows the best overall aptitude in four areas that Sigma Phi Epsilon holds in high regard:
(1) athletic achievement
(2) academic achievement
(3) leadership
(4) service to the community

There is no obligation to join Sigma Phi Epsilon to be eligible for thischolarship.
