POST ELECTION DAY:
Many many thanks to over 6,000 of you who went to the polls and voted for me - someone with no name just 6 months ago. I'm sorry only that I won't be able to serve you!
I had a wonderful time on this campaign trail and met a lot of great people and even a few new friends. It was truly an exciting experience and more work than most people can imagine but I can honestly say I loved every minute of it .
I would love to advise people who want to know about their candidates to at least do a cursory search at www.google.com next time and see what comes up when you type in :" Laurel Rancitelli of Springfield, Massachusetts" or any other candidate name . And now I'd like to congratulate not only those who won but also all the candidates who ran - it was a great sacrifice for the city.

A VERY Special thanks to all of my supporters , poll workers and friends who did so much to help me out!I will always remember your hard work and sacrifice !
