Spike had a hard time in Junior high both with being pergent, her singel mother, and then trying to get child support money from Shane was hard enough. Spike couldn't be a normal teean-aged kid like her friends because she had Emma (now the main person in/on Degrassi:The Next Generation) and she never had a REAL boyfriend because Shane did his acid trip in Junior High which left him a veg. Patrick was in High school but she dumped him (i think) because she did put in much time into the relaship with him, and then he asked Liz to go see a concert or something and Spike was so mad but did say but it sure did show. Spike's best friend Liz came in the second term of grade eight(8) and she didn't really know if she was going to have a baby but that news(that spike was going to have a baby and Shane was the father) spred very,very quickly through Degrassi Junior High. Spike was my favorite from Degrassi Junior High,Degrassi High,and i had many others but her and Liz were/are my favorite.
