It had been about 5 weeks after the destruction of the off shore facility Big Shell and the Arsenal Gear incident. With Raiden on the run with Rose because of the bounty on his head, placed by the non-existant Patriots. We find Snake living and a small beach house on an island whichc location is not known. he had been living in communication with Otacon. With the knowledge that the patriots are all dead, Otacon hasnt gotten any time to rest, he has been researching the GW system found on Arsenal. Little is still known about the GW system other than its ability to create AI characters such as the Colonel. technology such as this is yet to be discovered to whoever made it must have a superior team of advanced scientists. The GW's inner circiutry was fried when it was pulled out of Arsenal, traces of nitrogen were found and lead to suspicions of sabotage.
Raiden was on the border in New Mexico ready to flea in the slighest bit of danger. Rosaline was being harder and harder for Raiden to watch because of her current pregnancy, so Mei Ling volunteered to take her to Japan until things died down. Rosaline reluctantly went with her, they've been living in Tokyo for four weeks. With Snake in hiding he lived peacefully off the ocean. Snake had never been so happy to not fight, but knew the time was getting close, with Otacon getting closer to finding the Patriots everyday, Snake knew his time of peace was short. |
