It Was All Taken Too Soon
It was all too soon when I heard the news
The news of what happen to you.
It came as a shock for I didn't want to believe,
the belief that you now can never be seen.
As I look in the past of how you were
The way, you did what you were made for
The times I watched you up on the stand
As you directed the entire Marching Band
It was all too soon that your dreams faded to black
For now I know that you will never come back.
No more shall you grace you presence on stage
or watch your love catch the bride's bouquet
I wish now I could turn back time
To tell you what has been on my mind
Nevertheless I shall always regret
For not telling you what's on my mind set
It was all too soon when I heard the news
The news of what happened to you
Despite that you are gone for a while,
We shall always remember the way you smiled.
Although you left people behind,
A mother, father, friends, and a sister divine.
We whom your life has touched
Must always remember that we loved you much
It was all too soon when I heard the news,
The news of what happened to you.
Since you are gone your name shall stay in my heart,
And forever it will remain 'till I see you again.
