| Racetrack is the wise-cracking, gambling newsie who's always willing to the play the odds. Racetrack is one of the main characters in Newsies, and he always seems to make you smile. He has a great sense of humor ("What are we supposed to do to da bummers, kiss 'em?" and "Hey yeh honah, how bout I roll ya for it, double or nuttin?") See my point? But anyways, Racetrack has his name because of his love for the racetrack called Sheepshead Races. He even wants a permanent box there! (in king of new york) Racetrack is always seen with is pocke watch in his vest pocket. I do not know how he got a nice pocket watch like that, but oh well. Racetrack always likes to smoke cigars. (don't worry, Max said he knew not to inhale the cigar smoke) Some funny quotes of Racetrack I love: "Oh you mean Jack Kelly! Yeah, he was here. But he put an egg in his shoe and...beat it!"
