1. The first and most important rule is to make sure your fanfic is readable. This means that you must use proper grammer and spellcheck. I know I'm not the best writer in the world either, but your work is going to be read by thousands of people, so if no one can understand it or it's extremely difficult to read, it won't be accepted. If I reject it and ask you to edit it, don't murder me. If you're nice about it, I might even help you fix it up until it's site material :) But I'm not sure if I'll have time for it, so we'll see.
2. I'd prefer it if the fics weren't written in play format.
(ex: Vegeta - I shall kill you all!
Goku - That's not nice.... )
Nothing against fics written like this, but sometimes they are really hard to follow. If enough people complain about this rule, I'll make a seperate section for fics written in that format.
3. I don't like opening attachments due to viruses, so if your fic is already posted on the web, or places like ff.net, please give me the URL for it. If not, try copying and pasting the fanfic right on the e-mail you send me. If you HAVE to send it as an attachment, please send it in either HTML format or .doc format. .doc is perferred.
4. When you send the e-mail, please put 'fanfic submission' on the subject line. All e-mails must include the following:
Rating - (G, PG, PG-13, R)
Description - Just a short summary explaining what the fic is about.
Warnings - Any warnings of violence or anything of that type.
Author's name - Your name.
E-mail - If you want me to include your e-mail with the fic, let me know. It's optional.
Fanfic type(s) - I need to know which section to place your fic in.
5. I'm sorry, but I won't be accepting any hentai, yaoi, or yuri fics. I will be accepting fics with an R rating, but that does not mean I will allow excessive sexual content or bad language. Remember that younger people visit this site as well. Besides, if you ask me, fics where the "F" word is constantly used is just tacky and makes the fic sound juvenile.
6. I'm changing the sixth rule... again. Fics don't have to be completed, but you MUST make sure you plan on finishing the fic within a century. I don't wanna post a fic that'll never be completed. As for length... I'll allow up to 30 pages now :)
Hmmmm.... Ok, I think that's about it. I may add to this later if I encounter any problems. Just a few last moment things. As stated on the main fanfic page, if your fanfic type is not posted, tell me and I'll add that section.
