Hi-Q
Hi-Q was a Nebulan scientist who, along with his fellow scientist Hi-Test,
made Nebulos' energy reserves crippling to any Transformer who drew upon
them. This happened to Dreadwing and Darkwing. Hi-Test, who had ceased his
partnership with Hi-Q, found a thief named Throttle, who stole Hi-Q's
'Powermaster' technology. The two rogues used this to join with the two
crippled Decepticons and began raids on the cities of Nebulos. When a group
of Autobots led by Goldbug came to Nebulos to ask for assistance in reviving
Optimus Prime, Hi-Q warned them to leave. However, the Autobots became
involved in a conflict with the Decepticons and fell ill to the planet's
weakening effects. Hi-Q and the rest of his research team, except Kari,
decided to become Powermaster partners of the Autobots to help them
fight the Decepticons. Hi-Q became the partner of Optimus Prime, who was
rebuilt. After defeating the two Decepticons, the Autobots and their new
allies left Nebulos. Hi-Q remained with Optimus Prime for some time, until
the Autobot leader became involved in the battle against Unicron. Optimus
Prime then let Hi-Q detach from him, before he used the Matrix to destroy
Unicron. Although the Autobot was thought to be dead, Optimus Prime had
somehow survived in the body of Hi-Q. With the help of the Neo-Knights,
Hi-Q/Optimus Prime found the Last Autobot and was changed into a new version
of Optimus Prime, with both essences as one.
