Predacons
The Predacons are a group of animal-based Decepticons. They consist of
Razorclaw (leader,lion/robot), Rampage (tiger/robot), Headstrong (rhinoceros/robot), Tantrum (bull/robot), Divebomb (eagle/robot). They combine to form the gestalt Predaking. Predaking has, among the gestalts, the best reflexes. Predaking has no known weaknesses. [Ed: Okay, I admit that Rampage looks more like a panther than a tiger. The reference to "tiger" is from his TFU entry, and while that's not exactly definitive, it'll stay until there's some evidence from a canon source to say what his animal form really is.]

Believing that Megatron's increasing
instability would damage the Decepticon cause, Shockwave ordered the
Predacons to take on Earthen-based forms and destroy Megatron. The Predacons,
disguised as Autobots, attacked Megatron, but despite forming Predaking,
they failed to kill him.
The Predacons went on to serve under Ratbat, helping him to track down the Throttlebots
and attacking both the Autobots and Scorponok's Decepticons. During their fight
with the Underbase-powered Starscream, the Predacons were deactivated.
The Predacons were presumably all reactivated some time later. When the Decepticons attacking Earth in order to draw Optimus out of hiding, Tantrum was demolished after being rammed and shot up by Optimus Prime. When he tried to kill what he believed was a traitorous new Decepticon, Razorclaw was torn apart by the Rotor Froce member Leadfoot.
