Springer
Springer was an Autobot Triple Changer. He was capable of changing
from robot form into a car or a
helicopter. In robot form, he used a laser as his main weapon, although he
occasionally used his rotor blades (which transformed into a sword)
for close combat. Springer did seem to display leadership skills from time to time.
In 2005, Springer participated in the battle against the giant Transformer,
Unicron. He may also have had a special relationship with Arcee.

Springer appeared briefly during the Autobot preparations against the
Swarm. In his appearance, Springer was laying aerial mines.
Springer became leader of a band of Transformers known as the Survivors. In
addition to the number of Autobots in the group, two Pretender Decepticons
Catilla and Carnivac also were made part of the group. Springer often tried
to convert Carnivac to the Autobot cause, with little success. Springer and
the Survivors later became part of the Autobot Earthforce.
