Production paramedics stepped in after maramuu tribes reported that Shannon was having "fits" of sickness, and today he has reported pain of which he said is "beyond thought" at which point we stepped in and diagnosed:
CAMPYLOBACTER JEJUNI, which has emerged as a common human pathogen, causing enteritis and occasionaly systemic invasion. The bacterium is at least as common as salmonellae and shigellae as a cause of diarrhea. C jejuni are gram - negative rods with comma, s or 'gull-wing' shapes, and they are motile. Clinical maifestations are acute onset of crampy abdo pain, profuse diarrhea that may be grossly bloody, headache, malaise, and fever. Usually illness is self-limited to a period of 5-8 weekss.
Shannon will be removed from the game, and taken to a near-by hospital to start an imidiate recovery. Scheduled reward challenge was been cancled but immunity and tribal council will go on as before...
