Oh Nightmare, haunt my days and nights no more
For this sadness drowning me I cannot ignore
Such bleakness pierces far deeper than terror
And I lack the strength to be a pain bearer

Of all the wishes ever made tonight wish I may
I wish the day before that day before yesterday
That these days were never here nor ever felt
A dream this nightmare is but soon away it melt'

Let me wake in the faint glow of morning light
Or to the peaceful silence of my happy night
So smile for I the promises this dawn may bring
As do I for the memories a past night I cling
