| Welcome to Discovery for the Year 2002-2003 |
| Christian growth happens best in the context of relationships. Good News Discovery integrates faith into family life through the sharing of a meal, enjoying fellowship, and engaging in learning opportunities. It is an effective way to build lasting relationships between God, kids, and adults; the faith community. This midweek ministry offers opportunities to nurture faith, develop relationships, and foster fellowship and community through Scripture, worship and praise, and hands on activities. Each week families gather for supper from 6:00 PM through 6:45 PM. The cost is $2.00 per person with a maximum of $10.00 per family. At 7:00 PM, learning opportunities for children, youth, and adults begin. All conclude at 8:30 PM. The following is a list of groups that meet: * Nursery * Good News Discovery Centers: Preschool - - 3rd grade (Educational wing) * Good News Exploration: Grades 4 - 6 (St. John Park Basement) * Confirmation Grades 7 - 9 (Fellowship Hall-to small group meeting areas) * Chapel Choir (Sanctuary) * Adult Classes (Parish House) |

| Devotions and Discussions About Friends, school, self esteem, temptation, and the world to prepare them to make Christian based decisions. Games Time: foosball, basketball, air hockey, board games, etcetera |
| Each of these activities is 35 minutes long and all Good News kids will switch between their respective activity centers |
| They will conclude with DISCO |
| from 8:15 to 8:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall; at which time the parents may pick them up. Parents are welcome to join their children in the BASH closing at 8:15. |
