I have made two updates to the site today.  First, Koyie has responded to the latest round of questioning and I have posted his answers on page 3 of Ask Koyie. Along those lines, I need more questions for Koyie for the next round, so email me those.  He is really enjoying answering your guys' questions and would like to get to know each of you a little bit better, so your questions can be more specific if you'd like.   I am putting your names with the questions when I send them to him so that he can get to know you each a little bit better.  The more questions you send the better Koyie can get to know you.  Parents, if you have a question or two I'm sure that Koyie wouldn't have a problem answering those either.
Second, I have scheduled 2 practices before our next game.  Tomorrow (Friday) from 2:00-4:00 at C3 and Saturday from 3:00-5:00 at C3.  The July page has been updated as well.  I know that over the past 3 weeks or so I have not been able to keep up as well as I would have liked to with the site, specifically the schedule page, and I apologize for that.  Hopefully it didn't cause too many problems.

Alright, send me your questions for Koyie and we will see you tomorrow at practice.

(July 19, 2006)

It's been 10 days, so I figure it's time for another update.  As everyone knows, tonight's playoff game has been cancelled.  What you may not know, and what I did not know, is that our playoffs will run all the way through next weekend.  Therefore, we will play our second round game against Coon Rapids on Monday on C3 at 6:30.  This gives us 4 days to get in some practices- more to stay sharp than anything else.  As for last night's game, I would say it was by far our best offensive game of the year.  I go away for a few days, and when I come back you guys are finally hitting the ball the way we've been trying to get you to hit it for the last 2 years.  That's just a testament to how good all of our coaches are.  We didn't pitch all that great, although we didn't pitch poorly; we didn't play spectacular defense, although we were pretty solid.  The reason we won was because offensively we were outstanding- patient, great with 2 strikes, clutch hitting, and great approaches.  If we can keep that up for the next 3 games it will make it a lot easier for our pitchers and our defense and we'll be in pretty good shape.

Alright, the reason for this update: the stats page has been updated.  I won't say any more because I'm sure that you will all jump right to that page.  Just make sure to check your email in the next day or so; I will be emailing practice times.
