My Mom and My Daughter

Mom plays a very important role in my daughter's life and vice versa.  If more than a week goes by that they don't see each other you'd think they were going through withdrawals, lol.  They call each other on the phone and have girl chats and tell each other how their day was.  When the phone rings Taylor runs to it saying "It's for me!" and if I answer, Mom says "I don't want you, where's Taylor?" Hmph.
Mom calls Taylor her "Special little angel" and Taylor calls Mom her "Special little Nana Banana".

My Mom's the best.  Not only is she my Mother but my dearest friend.  I can always count on her to give me straight forward advice and opinions and to be there for me when I've done something wrong, (I can also expect a lecture but that's okay because I actually like them, especially since she's the smartest woman I know, but shhh, don't tell her that).

She's beautiful, intelligent and has a great sense of humor.  She's also one of the most caring and thoughtful people I know, although I wish she would spend more time thinking of herself than others.  She is far more special than she knows.

I get my courage, energy and my independence from my Mother.  Being a single Mother isn't always easy, even if it is the best choice to make.  Buf if I am doing half as good with my daughter as my Mother did with my sister and I, I know I'm doing an excellent job. :o)

I laugh with her, I cry with her, but most importantly I love with her.
