There are three different kinds of Elves.
From Mirkwood, are the elves from the Woodland Realm. Legolas Greenleaf comes from there.
From Lothlorien, is where the elves from the Golden Woods are. Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn rule that land.
And from Rivendell, is where Arwen Evenstar and her father Elrond Half-Elven rule their kin in The Last Homely House.
