In the Land of Mordor, a ring was made. A Ruling Ring to control all the Free Peoples of Middle Earth.
Into the One Ring, Sauron put in his blood and cruelty. And therefore it made the Ring safe-- because only in Mordor in the Fire of Mount Doom, where it was made, was where the One Ring of Sauron could be destroyed.
Together with the Fellowship, Frodo Baggins sets off on his quest to destroy this One Ring.
