| Chex Mix Muddy Buddies A great snack treat to have around the house or take to a picnic or family outing |

| Ingredients: |
| 9 Cups Chex cereal (any variety or use Cheerios/ Chex together for interesting texture) 1 package (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips (1cup) 1/2 Cup peanut butter 1/4 Cup margarine or butter (no spread or tub) 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 Cups powdered sugar |
| Measure cereal into large bowl; set aside. Microwave chocolate chips, peanutbutter and margarine in 1 quart microwaveable bowl uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal in bowl, stirring until evenly coated. Pour powdered sugar over slightly cooled mix and toss to coat. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. Yield: 9 cups snack |

| For 2- Gallon (old fashioned) Freezer: 8 eggs 4 3/4 cups sugar (beat together with eggs) 1 can evaporated milk 1 T vanilla for each cup sugar 5 qt. milk Converted for 6 Cup Freezer 3/4 cup sugar 1 egg 1 T vanilla 2 1/2 oz. evaporated milk 3 cups milk Beat together sugar and egg, add remaining ingredients and place in freezer container. Freeze according to machine directions. |
