Heroes' Return
The first story to be archived on this site, and the one to kick off what I hope to be a long series of stories to come.
SYNOPSIS/BLURB:
1997:
Harry Potter is seventeen this year. Since he entered the Hogwarts Academy for Wizardry and Witchcraft, his whole life has become a fight to survive against the machinations of the Dark Lord Voldemort. As he enters his seventh year in the school, the war between the light and the dark wizards threatens to spill over into the mundane world, and Harry knows not whether he can stand against the tide.
Yet Homo Magus is not the only strange thing to be found in this world, and Lord Voldemort is hardly the most evil...
In America, a secret war rages as agents of inconceivably secretive covert organisations battle it out in the dark, while President Jack Ryan finds himself locked in death-struggle with the twisted genius known only as Khan.
In space, vast and ancient alien empires prepare the next moves in cosmic battles that are slowly, inevitably, moving towards Earth.

In an alternate universe, created by the mind of a boy lonely for his parents, brightly colored heroes with strange costumes and even stranger powers wait for the day when they can soar in the sun again.
And, meeting in dingy, long-forgotten clubs in London and New York, ancient heroes--Immortals, great detectives, jungle lords and men of bronze and shadows watch, and plot their next move in the Grand Game whose prize is humanity's very soul...
