'came to fulfill'

First, this quotation answers the many questions about the changes to
basic Christianitysince the time of Christ. The original plan was for
Jesus to save the world. Therefore, as Christ's teachings were witnessed
to an expanded audience, the original rites, holidays, and structural customs expanded
to include God's other people (the gentiles).

Second (and similar) in this evolution of faith, is the seemingly pagan
celebrations. The good understandings and beliefs of all people
had to mingle in the one living and developing Body of Christ.

Simply put, there is no strictly pagan worship of God, only different interpretations of
His original purpose. To become the 'One' that God intended, we can neither
allow stagnation nor loose vigilance. The Church (in whatever context you define that)
must constantly be watched, improved, and "called to task" by the Body.

*Is it reasonable to assume that a just and all-knowing God would exclude his teachings
and prophecies from over 95% of the world's population? God's teachings as well as the
messengers of His love were equally sent, and God came to save everyone.
All are fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
