I'm glad you asked!
I'd be happy to tell you!
The Standards are an a'capella singing group from Twin Falls, Idaho.  They are the Williams brothers: Jordon, Morgan, Nicholas, Nathan, and Quinn.  They're known throughout the west for their talents and accomplishments.  They won the Pacific Northwest Regional Harmony Sweepstakes inMarch 1999) and were 2nd in the nation at the Harmony
Sweepstakes finals in California of May 1999. They were the family category grand champions last season on the national television show Destination Stardom.  They've opened up concerts for the Grammy award-winning pop group All-4-1,(do the words "I Swear" ring a bell?), the platinum record-holding country group Lonestar, and The Wilkinsons.  They also opened for Manhattan Transfer.    As if that wasn't enough, they've also been the opening act for the hit Broadway show, Riverdance.

Although they may be guys, and although they may have 5 members in their group, they are anything but the stereotypical "boy band."  They don't need flashing lights, pyrotechnics, or dancers to put on an A+ quality show.  All they have to work with are their voices, and they use those powerful instruments like other musicians use would use a guitar, a drum set, or even a trumpet or a tuba.  On top of that, they write and arrange their own songs. (Talk about the total package!) :-)

They've put out a total of five CD's, and they also produced an spiritual album Morgan recorded while on a mission in England called Bornemann and Boyd.  They are working VERY hard on getting a record deal, and they're getting closer and closer all the time!  So now, it's strait to the top for The Standards.  (Today the West, tomorrow the world) :-) They are incredible musicians, and they've worked hard to get where they are today.  They deserve all they success they've had so far, and all the success I know is in their future.
In short, these guys are awesome.  If you've never been to one of their concerts, don't pass up an opportunity to go to one!  I can guarantee you won't be dissapointed!
