Master’s Message

Brethren

By the time you get this, I am hoping that you all survived the ice storm and all is back to normal, also that you and yours had a very excellent MERRY CHRISTMAS. Again, I would like to thank all the Brethren and Officer's of the Lodge for a wonderful and fulfilling year.

I remind you, as the colder weather, and now snow, is hampering a lot of activities for our elder Brothers and Widows, please keep them in your thoughts and assist them, if possible, to get through this time of the year.

The 2009 Installation of Officer Corps will be held on January 10th (
2:00 PM).  We are still looking for 2-3 Brethren to fill some of the lower tier chairs. If you have the time and could possibly assist, it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact one of the Officer's if you are interested.

We have successfully started three candidates on their Masonic journey by giving them their Entered Apprentice degree. I have heard reports that they were impressed by the work of the Lodge, and are eagerly awaiting their next step.

Master-Elect Bro. Gouzoules has asked me to relay the following: He would like to thank all for electing him and the new slate of Officers for the upcoming year. He is hoping to keep things going in a positive manner and to have some more of the activities as we did last year by keeping the family and friends [prospective members] involved in the Lodge doings. Also, to improve the relationship and visitations to other lodges within and without the state, and some other new ideas.

As this will probably be my last Trestle Board, my heartfelt thanks to all, a very MERRY CHRISTMAS, and most of all, in these trying times, a very blessed, prosperous, and HAPPIEST OF
NEW YEARS.
