My hair history for November 2005.  The introduction to wearing a ponytail at work last month went well.  I wear it that way perhaps 2/3 of the time there.  Elsewhere, I love wearing it loose.  My next thing will be deciding on a goal length.  I appreciate all the feedback from my poll.  Hopefully by later this month or next I'll have determined my goal.

I hiked the Three Sisters ridge near Mount Chocorua.  The fog/drizzle/rain never lifted but it never rained too hard.  The pictures did not turn out well though probably due to the moisture falling in the air.

For the last couple of months I've used no product of any kind in my hair.  This is partly because the added weight of it now keeps it in place better and a ponytail also obviates the need for gel.  Tonight I decided to see what my hair would look like with a lot of gel in it.

Before: no gel or product whatsoever.

After (wet with gel): it took a while to work the gel all the way through my hair.

After (gel has dried and brushed through): I like the more sleek, straight look of the hair but don't like the greasiness of the gel.

The added weight of the gel creates more fullness

A french braid!  Way too fem to wear out but fun to experiment with.  My wife said she's a bit out of practice plus said it would be easier if my hair is a couple of inches longer.
