| Our Morning Meetings are an important part of our day. Children have a chance to interact with our meeting chart and use their language skills during share time. It also reinforces and connections between many subject areas.They are becoming more independent and love to share their ideas. |
| Math News We love patterning and are working on AB patterns right now. Our math centers give us a chance to practice what we learn in our groups. Printing our numbers is hard work! We are working on 1-5. Graphing is fun and we learn alot when we do it. We are graphing our favorite apples, shapes, and colors. We are also learning our numbers from 1-10,and sequencing them. We are sorting apples by color, size, shape, stems, and stickers. It is so imnportant to look at tasks from more than one perspective, encourager your child to do this more often. |

| Religion Our prayer time is very special and we try to have quiet time to talk to God everyday. We pray for peace in our world, those who are sick, our families and to ask Jesus to help us do our best each day. We are learning what faith means and discussing what we believe in. The first song we are learning is named "WE ARE FAITH FIRST KIDS." Our new series Faith First will have many opportunites for parents to reinforce the concepts taught in school. I look forward to helping your child grow in faith this year. |
