Our precious Tut Kitty was diagnosed with Feline Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy on December 4, 2000 and he died
on December 8, 2000. This is the last picture I took of him on the
6th. He will be forever missed.
Tut Kitty was given to me by my son for my birthday on March 11, 1999. It was love at first sight. I held him for at least 12 hours and it was a few months before he would let me do that again. Every time I sat down he would know, no matter where he was and he would come get in my lap. We had so much fun. Looking back now, I can see that he didn't feel good. Just look at the picture I took of him on November 27, 2000. If you notice your precious kitten with any sign of heart disease, please have him checked out by a vet. Tut kitty would stop in mid track during a chase with other cats and lay flat out on the floor. I thought he was playing. I always wondered why he put his head on the floor when he rested but I never suspected heart disease. I had mentioned it to my husband but he said it was cute the way he stretched out on the kitchen floor. I should have known. I wish I had known. |
