A Yuletide celebration for the whole family!

Two parts Renaissance Festival, one part Madrigal, 63/100 parts Monty Python and all completely insane!

Join the jolly court of the Holly King as they drink wassail, perform ridiculous plays about How the Scarlet Pimpernel Saved Stonehenge and sing Yuletide carols to the King - but look out - the Oak King is on his way to fight our good despot to the death! Will there be a great battle? Will Bobbin Good and his Berrymen save Rottingham or will they all be in deep Chablis?

Find out, with the most insane madrigal ever!
Originally produced in 2003 and 2004 by Epic Arts Repertory Theatre Company in Charlotte, NC, "A Mad, Mad Madrigal" garnered critical acclaim and won the hearts of Charlotteans of all ages and all backgrounds. At first glance, the show plays like a silly mixture of Python, Renaissance faire and a Madrigal Dinner gone wacky, but it has a heart of solemn reverence for the ancient traditions of Solstice and Yule.

An alternative to the same old Christmas shows, "A Mad, Mad Madrigal" is an opportunity to provide a family holiday experience people of all faiths, with a special nod to those who embrace the Earth and her seasons.
