As you can see we are a relative young band. When we where together for about a year we decided to play at a talent scouting. There where 11 other bands but it turned out to be a big success for our band. We reached the first place and our self-confidence was growing. For about 4 weeks later we had to play again and some people who had a company decided to support us by giving us f1000-. There were 10 companies who decided to support us. With the money we planned to make a CD. We went to the “sound wave studio” and we made it to get 14 songs on or album in which one own track called “Visible Pain. Visible Pain is also the name of our CD. We didn’t have experience and so we learned al lot in a few days. We have bin on stage now for about 22 times and we are surprised that the offers keep coming. Very soon after de days in the studio our bass player decided to stop playing in our band. The reason was that she would not practice enough. It seemed that it would become a tough time for Promises but soon after her decision we found another guy who would like to play in our band. The name of the new bass-guitar player is Ruud Gruijters. After 2 repetitions we had to appear on stage again. This was for the same talent scouting as the year before. The jury was surprised that we became so much better and we reached to the finals. Finally we made it to the forth place. The only reason why we didn’t end on a higher position was that we had not so much own songs. On the moment the band is doing quite good. The plans for the future are made and we hope that it brings us a great time.
