THE UNIVERSE
The universe is huge beyond imagining. Every night, a tiny portion of it is revealed to us in the starry sky overhead. Mixed in among the stars are planets, moons, star clusters, nebulaes, and galaxies. The universe is all the matter, energy, and space that exist. It includes everything from the crumbs on your kitchen floor to the Sun, planets, all the stars and galaxies, and the light that travels through space. The word "universe" comes from the Latin phrase meaning"turning as one"
